Throughout the year our charity organization, Hope for Children, runs a variety of fundraising events in New Zealand for special needs children, giving them a great day out and raising funds for a worthwhile cause.

Some of these events are listed as follows:

• Christmas party days out, normally at a large park or reserve, with entertainment provided such as magicians, clowns, lolly scrambles, Christmas presents for the children, food and drink.
  
• Film Festivals where hundreds of children get to see a popular children's movie they would not have otherwise seen. Food and drink provided for the children as well.
  
• Visits to Zoos and Wildlife Reseves with a barbeque for the children and carers on site. Always a popular one with the children. Normally the children will get a gift to take home as well.
  
• Indoor entertainment such as a circus or children's entertainers.The kids get food and drink. Held in larger venues, for example town halls and entertainment centres.
