Having
provided various clients with digital solutions for the last
10+ years. EPPL was eventually formed in order to provide solutions
for up and coming business and to provide the general public
with a digital development consultancy company based in Dunedin,
New Zealand.sing a variety of skills, and with links to University
and Educational development companies. EPPL is constantly up
with new and changing technologies, as the digital world progresses
and constantly advances.EPPL hopes to provide clients with high
quality digital solutions, in an effort to promote new and exciting
concepts on a national or international scale. Please feel free

like a thought or sound to an instrument of creation, a designer
takes the idea and  translates
it through the process of conceptualization, into something
real, having done so the initial idea is echoed back in the
form of a physical object. It is the process of conceptualization
that is the Echo - Point.

Who
we are. |
 PROFILE: James
Rae (CEO)
With a background in interactive multimedia and extensive knowledge
in desktop publishing, digital video, image manipulation and website
design. James brings to Echo Point over 10 years of digital design
experience.
Mixing
a passion for futuristic design, and combining 2D and 3D graphics
James has already created a variety of websites, interactive
displays and presentations as well as being responsible for
the look of various national and international companies.
James
primarily works in the Education sector, providing multimedia
development to New Zealand's National Education Monitoring
Project when he's not involved in producing solutions for Echo
Point Productions, or relaxing on the couch watching movies
or playing Playstation or a game of WII Tennis.

A Brief History: 1998

As
the web developed so to did our interest in being a part of
it. Originally starting out with my personal portfolio, my
private company went online under the link The
Talisman Portfolio . Originally called "Digital Matrix
Creations" I provided clients with 3D animations and graphics
for various projects, some of which are highlighted in the
site. |
2003

Echo
Point Productions was originally released online
back in 2003. Before then it was known as Digital
Matrix Creations. With a new name the company still
provided the same wide variety of digital solutions as DMC.
Echo Point has two areas of distinction. Firstly the business
side to which we provide clients with digital design solutions,
from interactive presentations, 3D models, animations, websites
and the like. The second area is for high-lighting all the
interesting and informative links and material that we discover,
and also an area, originally called "The Testing Ground" in
which we can experiment and give back resources to
the general public for free. |

This
was the second official version of the Echo Point Productions
website. This design was based around a Echo Point Core,
which separates into two areas, primarily the company - profile,
services, portfolio. and the resource, interest side of the
digital world - news, resources, contacts and links. In an
ever growing and developing digital world. This new site
is designed to expand as more and more content is brought
online. We found with the original site, expanding was becoming
an issue, and like all things change was inevitable. |

years later and nothing much has happened here, time for a revamp
and some new material now that I have some down time. I'm hoping
to get back more into drawing and having some possible Director
experiments online soon. Just made one which I think will
be very useful. |
